What We Collect

Details you give us - your name, email, phone number and information about your acting career - when you fill in a form, download a free resource, enquire, or book a service.

Materials you share with us as part of a service, such as footage and headshots.

Payment information - we take payment by bank transfer, so we don't collect or store card details. We keep a record of the transaction (such as your name, the amount and the reference) for our accounts.

Our Lawful Bases
We rely on your consent (for free resources, marketing and non-essential cookies), on performing our contract with you (for client services and payment), on our legitimate interests (for running the business and maintaining our industry relationships), and on legal obligations (such as keeping financial records).
Marketing
We only send marketing where you have opted in, or where you enquired about or bought a similar service from us. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and we act on opt-outs straight away.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the site. Some low-risk cookies - such as analytics that only give us aggregate numbers - may run without asking first, and you can opt out of these. Anything used for advertising or tracking is set only if you accept it through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.
Who We Share It With
We use trusted providers to run our website, email, file storage, payments and marketing, who process data on our behalf under contract: Wix (website and forms), Google Workspace (email and file storage), Supabase (secure database hosting for our CRM), EmailOctopus (email marketing) and TidyCal (booking). Some are based outside the UK, and where they are, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place. We do not sell or rent your data, and we only share it otherwise where the law requires.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your data only as long as we need it:
Enquiry data, if you don't become a client - up to 24 months, then deleted.
Client and financial records - 6 years (tax and limitation periods).
Marketing contacts - until you unsubscribe.
Your Rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing, and you can object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise any of these, email hello@devilsavocado.co and we'll respond within one month.
Under 18s
If you're under 18, please involve a parent or guardian. We ask for their consent before working with a minor or using a minor's materials, and we don't send minors marketing.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first at hello@devilsavocado.co so we can put it right. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and respond without undue delay.
